Acer experience
Eisa is one of the traditional Okinawan cultures that children should definitely experience.
Eisa is one of the traditional performing arts of Okinawa, which is the mainland Bon festival dance. Mainly, the youth associations in each region have their own patterns, and they parade while dancing in the region on the night of the old Bon festival.
In Okinawa, we often see children showing Eisa at nursery school and kindergarten events.
I visited the Eisa Museum
I visited the Eisa Museum, one of the places to experience it!
This facility is located in "Acer Town Okinawa City" where you can experience and learn about Eisa.
Introducing the experience of a group of three boys.
First of all, at the entrance, Eibo-kun, the character of Okinawa City, will welcome you.
Let's pick up Acer's tools
Immediately after entering the museum, there was a drum called "Paranku" used by Eisa.
I'm enjoying picking it up right away ♪
When you go up to the second floor, there is an area where you can pick up drums and experience them according to the images and sounds displayed on the monitor.
There are also four bamboo, parlancoo, taiko drums and large drums, which you can actually pick up.
This is the taiko drum
When I became an elementary school student, I was able to play the big drum in a cool way!
It's still heavy at the age of four!
But it looks fun ♪
Let's listen to Acer's music
There is a corner where you can listen to the music used by Eisa.
It's music that I don't usually touch, so I listened to it strangely at first, but when I realized it, I was playing drums along with the song.
Even a one-year-old child is enthusiastic about Eisa's music ♪
Acer Photo Spot
There is a photo spot where you can take pictures with tools.
Having a drum makes you feel more realistic!
The three children were of different ages, but they seemed to find and enjoy what they enjoyed.
Since the Eisa Museum is an indoor facility, you can visit it regardless of the weather.
I stayed for about an hour, but each corner was large enough that I didn't feel dangerous even if I let children aged XNUMX and XNUMX play.
Depending on the time of year, it seems that you can take pictures while wearing Eisa costumes, so it is recommended as a memory unique to Okinawa!
